Fractera Admin

Personal domain

Attach your own domain and switch the project to HTTPS.

Enter the domain you bought, in apex form (for example aifa.dev). The steps that follow walk through the DNS records, the certificate, an end-to-end HTTPS check, and the switch from IP mode to your domain.

Do not use Cloudflare DNS. Cloudflare proxies traffic through their network, which adds a dependency and occasional connectivity trouble. Use your registrar's own DNS panel — they all give you direct A-record management.
What attaching a domain actually does

What changes. Your project stops being an IP address with ports and becomes a set of addresses on your own domain, each over HTTPS: the site, sign-in, this panel, the data layer. The certificate is issued on your server, so no traffic passes through anybody else.

Why so many records. Each service answers on its own hostname, and every hostname needs its own A-record pointing at the same server. One certificate then covers them all at once, which is why a single missing record blocks issuance for everything.

What protects you. Nothing switches until the end-to-end check passes on every required hostname. And if something breaks within 30 seconds of activation, the server returns to IP mode by itself — you keep this panel rather than losing your way in.

It is reversible. Switching back to IP mode is one button and keeps the domain and certificate configured. That is deliberate: a change to how a server is reached must never be a one-way door.

This is the only page that changes how the whole server is reached. Nothing here happens without your press.
